Our new service monitors and identifies leaked data associated with the same domain. This facilitates businesses and organizations to assess, prioritize, and prevent potential risks in preparation for the new NIS2 directive. The service can also be used to identify and manage personal data incidents. In the event of a personal data incident, businesses or organizations need procedures for effective management. If a personal data incident poses a risk to the rights and freedoms of the data subjects, it must be reported to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY.
The service provides detailed domain-level information and features a user-friendly interface that provides a clear overview and quick answers to questions that need to be addressed to assess the severity and risk of an incident. The NIS2 directive states that when a personal data incident is detected, there is a 72-hour deadline to address the incident, inform those affected, and in some cases, notify the IMY, which is the supervisory authority in Sweden. Equivalent supervisory authorities exist throughout the EU for incidents in other countries. Failure to meet the 72-hour deadline may result in sanctions. Being able to conclude investigations quickly is important to avoid unnecessary time spent investigating the incident, and EyeonID's service facilitates this process.
